Conformal coating Inspection made Easy with Automated Conformal Coating Inspection System ACCIS
SCH have launched an inline Automated Conformal Coating Inspection System (ACCIS). Conformal Coating Inspection is a critical and often neglected stage of the conformal coating process. The standards such as IPC A 610 are explicit in their requirements for conformal coating inspection yet few companies actually inspect to that level.
SCH Technologies have developed an Automated Conformal Coating Inspection System (ACCIS) for automatic inspection of conformal coating and defect detection.
The ACCIS Automated Conformal Coating Inspection System is designed for the automatic inspection of the quality of a conformally coated circuit board. It highlights the areas where the board is coated & not coated, as well as highlighting areas suffering from common defects such as de-wetting, cracks and delamination.

New March Technical Bulletin on Conformal Coating Inspection
SCH have published their new Technical Bulletin on Conformal coating Inspection. The topic covered this month looks at conformal coating Inspection and conformal coating standards such as IPC-A-610 and IPC-CC-830. The article takes a detailed look at acceptance and defects criteria.
