Cleaning of Electronic Circuit Boards before Conformal Coating – Contact Cleaners

This week we focus on cleaning before or after a board is conformally coated with our range of MG Chemicals Contact Cleaners.

Our Nu-trol control cleaner contains a unique blend high purity solvents and lubricating oils for restoring electronic continuity and lubricating parts. The Nu-trol cleaner is ideal for cleaning and lubricating locks, relays, hinges and other parts.

Aswell as the Nu-trol contact cleaner, we also offer a contact cleaner with silicone’s. This particular contact cleaner is used to clean and protect a PCB board but with added silicone’s for lubrication on the board. The contact cleaner with silicone’s is ideal for use on tuners, switches, locks and a range of other equipment. Both of the above are safe on plastics and are 100% Ozone safe.

About Dr Lee Hitchens

Dr Hitchens has been working in the electronics industry and the area of conformal coatings for over 25 years in various areas including sales and technical support. He has also been training people for almost the same amount of time in all areas of conformal coating whether that is materials & equipment selection, process development or troubleshooting to help them solve their particular problem. Recently, he decided that the industry needed a specific place where all of the useful knowledge on conformal coatings could be collated for users to find easily and use in their own production process. So, Nexus was born and he began the Nexus eBook project.
