Cleaning of Electronic Circuit Boards before Conformal Coating – Swabs

This week we focus on cleaning before or after a board is conformally coated with our range of MG Chemicals Swabs.

Our full range of swabs & other wipes are used in conjunction with other cleaners in our MG Chemicals range to remove, destroy or otherwise rid a board of dust, lint, oils and other liquids easily. They can also be used in touch up and finishing of the conformal coating process when applying conformal coating removal fluids.

Our range includes Chamois swabs, which are lint free, synthetic suede bonded to a bendable handle, this allows for easily access to otherwise hard to reach areas. Other products in this range such as the Rectangular Foam Swabs are used for aggressive cleaning applications where the large foam head is bonded to a sturdy handle to allow for vigorous usage.

If you would like to know more about our range of contact cleaners or any other material that we offer then contact us on +441226 249019 or via sales@schservices.com. Or, take a look at our Full Range of MG Chemical Products.

About Dr Lee Hitchens

Dr Hitchens has been working in the electronics industry and the area of conformal coatings for over 25 years in various areas including sales and technical support. He has also been training people for almost the same amount of time in all areas of conformal coating whether that is materials & equipment selection, process development or troubleshooting to help them solve their particular problem. Recently, he decided that the industry needed a specific place where all of the useful knowledge on conformal coatings could be collated for users to find easily and use in their own production process. So, Nexus was born and he began the Nexus eBook project.
